David Wilson

Wilson is a graduate of Terrebonne High School in Houma and attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana. While in college, he was drafted into the Army where he served on active duty for nine months. As the war was ending, he transferred to the Army Reserve to complete his military commitment.
Wilson worked as a paramedic for Acadian Ambulance Service for 2½ years. In 1974 he was trained by Lafayette General through USL and became one of the first of seven cardiac medics in the State of Louisiana.
In late 1976, Wilson pursued a career in oil field drilling and production. He played an important part in the growth of several oil field-related businesses and obtained numerous patents.
In 1991, he co-founded Concentric Pipe and Tools Services, later selling the company to Superior Energy in 1997. He stayed on as president at Concentric Pipe for 20 years and retired in 2016.

Wilson is also involved in various community and civic clubs.
Wilson's personal goal is to help and empower people to be the best they can be each and every day.
Wilson is married to Prissy Wilson. He has one son, three daughters, and eight grandchildren.
